Notes: Josephine is a dominant type mare and it takes a little while to earn her respect/trust, but once you do she will do anything for you. She is a very patient, calm and kind mare that has never shown any signs of aggression, offered to kick, bucked or bolted. She would do better with a female as her new person, as she has not been around many males and seems to be more fearful of them. She has a lot of energy and is always looking for her next task. She could excel at disciplines including, but not limited to, endurance, trail riding, cowboy races, obstacle challenges and working cows. She has only been worked in Western discipline, but could also go into English. She currently leads, loads, ties, crossties, bathes, stands for farrier and ground ties. She can walk, trot, canter, side pass and is beginning to neck rein. She has completed every obstacle I've put before her and does some tricks. Though she is doing really well, I would still consider her very green. I am the only person who has worked with her in this training period and believe there will be a large learning curve for her with a new person. If someone local got her I would love to work with them to help her transition more smoothly.
