Notes: La Genia, is one of the coolest little mustangs I have ever had the opportunity to work with! She is in your pocket and loves people - and the treats they bring along with them! This gorgeous mare is 4 years old and from Antelope Valley, Nevada. She blankets, clips, ties, trailers, bathes, loads in the trailer, fly sprays, lunges and saddles with no problems. She may paw in the trailer sometimes. She's extremely willing, aims to please and is broke to ride under saddle. She walks, trots, lopes, stops, backs and side passes. She has the start to the turn around and is doing well with her flying lead change, she has even learned to sit! That being said, although she is extremely willing, she also has her 4 year old, red mare days. La Genia has been very cool to train and has really made it fun! Unfortunately in the middle of training La Genia did come up sore. We took her to the vet as soon as possible and found out that she had some slight bone change to the right front navicular bone. She was not diagnosed with a navicular at this time. I have all vet reports and can even get the X-ray if needed. Our vet suggested we put on a pair of bar shoes and she seems to be moving well. In addition to seeing the vet for her feet. She has also had her teeth floated and had recently had an over all health check and is doing well!
